FAQS

Frequently asked questions

Do you perform pregnancy ultrasounds?

No. We focus on diagnostic gynecologic, breast and general imaging; obstetric ultrasound is performed by your OB provider.

Is a transvaginal ultrasound always needed?

Not always, but it gives far more detail of the uterus and ovaries. Your physician's order specifies what is required.

How do I prepare for a pelvic ultrasound?

You are usually asked to arrive with a full bladder for the abdominal portion. We send exact instructions when you schedule.

Can I get my mammogram and ultrasound the same day?

Often yes. Tell our scheduling team when you call and we will try to combine your visit.
