Lucent Medical Imaging is an advanced outpatient imaging center in Glendale, California, offering 3 Tesla MRI, low-dose CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography and whole-body preventive screening, with every study read by a board-certified radiologist.

Lucent was founded on a simple observation: patients were being sent to hospitals for imaging that did not need a hospital. The equipment mattered. The waiting rooms, the parking structures, the three-week appointment queues and the report that nobody explained did not.
So we built an outpatient center with hospital-grade equipment and none of the hospital experience. Shorter waits, protocols chosen for your specific question, subspecialty radiologists reading every study, and results in 24-48 hours, explained in language you can actually use. If a different modality would answer your question better, we say so.

Our technology
We operate a 3 Tesla MRI with AI-enabled deep-learning reconstruction, low-dose CT protocols, 3D tomosynthesis mammography and Sonocine automated breast ultrasound. Field strength, reconstruction and protocol all decide how much detail reaches the radiologist, so we publish exactly what we run.
Our radiologists
Every study is interpreted by a board-certified radiologist, with subspecialty readers for neurological, musculoskeletal, breast and cardiac imaging. Where AI is used, it assists the image, never the diagnosis. A named physician is accountable for every interpretation.

Routine studies are reported within 24-48 hours and critical findings are called through immediately. Our team handles insurance authorization, confirms protocols with you when a case is complex, and makes the reading radiologist available for direct case questions.
