Consistent imaging through every stage of treatment
Cancer care depends on comparing today's scan against the last one. We keep protocols consistent, obtain your prior studies and report measurements your oncologist can act on.

Questions and conditions this imaging answers
Imaging does not replace your physician's evaluation, it gives them the detail needed to act with confidence.
Where imaging fits in cancer care
- Characterizing a newly found mass
- Staging before treatment planning
- Assessing response during therapy
- Routine surveillance after treatment
- Investigating a new symptom in a survivor
What imaging can show
- Size, location and extent of a known lesion
- Change compared with prior measurements
- Involvement of nearby structures and nodes
- Post-treatment change versus recurrence
- Findings that redirect the treatment plan
Which scan answers which question
Different questions call for different studies. Use this as a guide, then confirm the right exam with your physician or our scheduling team.
| Your question | Study most often used | Why that study |
|---|---|---|
| A mass was found, what is it? | MRI or CT with contrast, chosen by organ | Contrast-enhanced cross-sectional imaging characterizes tissue and defines extent. |
| I need surveillance after treatment. | The same modality and protocol as your prior scans | Comparability matters more than novelty; changing modality can obscure real change. |
| My oncologist wants to check response. | CT or MRI at the interval your team specifies | Measured change against baseline drives treatment decisions. |
| I need breast-specific staging. | Breast MRI | Defines extent of disease and evaluates the opposite breast before surgery. |
Final exam selection depends on your clinical history, prior imaging and insurance authorization.
We are your imaging center, not your treating oncologist
We provide the diagnostic studies your cancer team requests and send results directly to them. Treatment decisions stay with your physician.
- Bring or tell us where your prior imaging was performed so we can compare.
- PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies are performed elsewhere; ask us for a referral.
- Urgent oncology studies can be flagged, have your physician's office call us.
Frequently asked questions
Can you get my prior scans from another facility?
Yes. Tell us where they were performed and we will request them, or your physician's office can upload them with the order.
Do you perform PET/CT?
Not at this location. We perform MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and X-ray, and can point you to a PET provider.
How fast are oncology reports turned around?
Routine reports go out in 24 to 48 hours. Urgent studies flagged by the ordering office are prioritized.
Will the same radiologist read my follow-ups?
We keep subspecialty reads consistent wherever possible so comparisons are made by a reader familiar with your case.
