Our mission and approach to care
Lucent Medical Imaging exists to make advanced diagnostic imaging faster, clearer and calmer, combining current-generation equipment with subspecialty radiologists and a patient experience built around understanding, not just scanning.
To give people a clear answer about their health, quickly and kindly, using the best imaging available and a radiologist who is accountable for reading it. We will always tell you what we can see, what we cannot, and what to do next.
Four beliefs, each tied to a real practice.
Clarity over speed alone
A faster scan only matters if the image is diagnostic.
We run current-generation 3T MRI with AI reconstruction, and we repeat a study rather than report a poor one.
Every scan deserves a specialist
Subspecialty training changes what actually gets seen.
Fellowship-trained radiologists read within their specialty, neuro, musculoskeletal, breast and cardiac.
Patients deserve to understand
A report you can't read isn't an answer.
Plain-language explanations, and a results conversation when a finding needs context rather than a PDF.
Honesty about limits
No test finds everything, and pretending otherwise is not care.
We tell you when a different modality answers your question better, and we are explicit about what screening can and cannot show.
Our approach to imaging care, start to finish.
Before your scan
Benefits verified and your out-of-pocket cost confirmed up front. Preparation explained in plain language, and your questions answered by a person before you arrive.
During your scan
Comfort measures for anxiety and claustrophobia, open communication throughout, and a protocol matched to the clinical question rather than a generic template.
After your scan
A radiologist report in 24-48 hours for routine studies, written to be understood, plus coordination of next steps with your referring physician.
A human radiologist is accountable for every interpretation.
We use structured reporting so that findings are described consistently from study to study and comparisons over time are meaningful. Protocols are reviewed against the clinical question before the scan runs, and our quality assurance program includes peer review of interpretations.
Where artificial intelligence is involved, it assists image reconstruction and noise reduction, it does not make a diagnosis. A board-certified radiologist reads and signs every study.
How AI reconstruction worksAdvanced imaging should be easy to reach.
